Fana - Citadel

Fa'ana Seleya, nicknamed Fana, was working on things related to starting up the task force when she got a message from her best friend, Zytex Gyrandros. Zytex had requested her to handle the recruitment of yet another member potential task force member, this one a Human named Jack Taylor. The Asari had gotten used to this kind of thing. Zytex, being the de facto of the Council's task force, couldn't handle all the business of running and starting up the task force himself, so he had his subordinates handle some of the business he couldn't.

The Asari read through Jack Taylor's file and grinned. "Pretty interesting stuff. Yeah, he'll do.", Fana said to herself. She brought up Jack Taylor's contact information and contacted him via communicator. She made her tone and demeanor a bit more serious than the norm and said through the communicator when she got a connection,"Hello, is this Jack Taylor? I'd like to talk to you about something pretty important". Fana awaited a response from the Human.

*After a short ringing noise, she would hear a human answer, seemed to be a bit tired in his voice* "Yes? Hello who is this? Is this about the car? I still have more then a month to pay it off."

Fana responded in a confused tone,"What are you talking about? I'm not talking about any car . I am contacting you for something much more important.". Fana regained a more composed and serious tone,"This is Asari Special Forces Officer Fa'ana Seleya, talking on behalf of the Citadel Council and Turian General Zytex Gyrandros. It has come to my attention that you are to be considered to join a special task force sponsored by the Council itself. Mostly due to your special forces and engineering experience. Add to that your experience fighting the Geth, you seem like a prime candidate to join us. It you're interested, I can continue and tell you more information. If not, I'll just hang up and we'll move on. I know I'm sounding like those cliche'd people from one of those cheesy shows and the like, but I assure you, this is important. I'd recommend you listen to what I have to say". She awaited a response from the human.

"Asari Special Forces? Is this some kind of joke? I'm not part of the military anymore, I was discharged after my last assigment. My Geth encounter was a disaster. What kind special task force is this? And is this really legit or a prank?"

Fana kept her formal tone and responded to the Human,"As I said before, this is no joke. We're seriously considering you for the Council's task force.". The Asari took a deep breath and then resumed,"As you are probably well aware of, when Saren and the Geth attacked the Citadel, it threw the galaxy and especially Citadel space got a bit hectic. The Geth seemed phased for a small bit, but as we know, that didn't last. Those synthetic bastards have started causing trouble again --- attacking colonies, disrupting trade, etc. Stuff you probably already knew. Anyways, the Council made this black ops task force to deal with the Geth. And when I say 'deal with the Geth', we're just the dedicated vanguard against them. We still have the support of the Council and the Citadel military. The Council just doesn't want to devote the entire Citadel military against the Geth, especially when they have taken quite some losses from the Geth invasion of the Citadel. Also, they have parts of the galaxy to rebuild and give order back to. The entire Relay network being shutdown for part of the invasion caused quite some issues for the galaxy.

"Anyways, enough exposition. Let's get down to business. My buddy Zytex wants to recruit you based on your exceptional skills as an engineer, your military and special forces experience, your run ins with the Geth, and more. Provided you accept the offer, you will be provided access to top of the line equipment, some even from the black market and other underworld places. Also, we are compensating everyone who joins and will provide living arrangements for those who join. I understand you might not be in the military and might have had bad experiences with the Geth, but please, do consider the offer. And it will be a way to get back at those synthetic bastards. I'll give you some time.". Fana awaited Nick's response.

"That quite a lot to take in, I'll consider it. Do you want me to come to a place or something?"
