I had an idea a little while ago that the Rewrite game could actually work if it was mainly an old style, top down, sprite based game. Sure it would take a log ass time to make, but it would be feasible and not so inhumane. Just a musing by me. Give me any feedback you might have like usual.

Do you actually have any program experience?

Maybe it would work top down but maybe a 2.5 d game mod for Doom would probably be easier to make then programming in a whole engine. I mean the old Star Wars games were practically doom with a reskin.
