Changes/Plans for the new RP when it comes

As some people know, I eventually intend to revive the RP (though differently) I ran on TVT based on the Rewrite. When it does get revived, the things you saw in the TVT thread archives won't be necessarily followed with the revival.

Here are some changes I'm planning:
- Lore will be updated with more current versions of Rewrite lore. Again though, the RP is only mostly based on the Rewrite proper. The RP is less controlled than the Rewrite proper, has some different lore, is not my Rewrite canon, is meant to generate ideas for the Rewrite proper, and is a chance for others to experience the universe through their characters'.
- Some decisions we made in the original RP (Anderson being the Human Councilor, our Shepard, Kaidan being the VS, etc.) can be taken back and be redone this time around.
- To those who wanted to play Garrus or Tali, I'm sorry. They're now mine for the entire RP, no negotiations. That's what happens when you're the GM and can control who gets control over your favorite canon characters. Liara and the VS will still be open to players. I will play them in the meantime if no one wants them.
- One must join an RP group to actually participate in an RP.
- I might let others run their own RPs here once we get started. I created a GM group just for that. They do not have to be Rewrite or Mass Effect related, just following forum rules.
- I'm allowing player major canon characters to have more leeway this time around. I still have more control over them, but I'll let the players playing them have more control.

Here are some new ideas I'm thinking of:
- I'm thinking of maybe using a stats, mechanics, dice, etc. system. These come out of traditional tabletop RPGs (though I'd probably make my own ruleset). It would make the RP actually a game instead of just an RP. I don't know if I really want to got through with this. I could just bastardize the system and occasionally roll on things. Or I could just not use any mechanics at all and actions will turn out how I think they should. You give me feedback here.
- I might add more fields to the character sheets. Who knows?

- I'm still the GM with the final say in everything. I'm planning on giving myself more power when it comes to outcomes. I have even more power due to being the admin.
- Most characters (barring Shepard, who can change from the old RP's Shep.) can stay mostly the same. I'm planning on changing my own main characters a a bit , but it is not required.
- I still plan on running recruitment sessions before I let you use a character in the RP. How it happens might be added to or change. These recruitment sessions help me get a better feel for your writing style and your character.
- Yes, Zytex is still the boss. However, since he mostly runs things from behind the scenes, it's hard for him to interact with the day to aspects of the characters' lives. If I get other players to join him in that regard though, he might not have to be the only player character that deals with another realm of intrigue from the other PCs and be detached from them.
- I still have Zytex, Garrus, and Tali as characters who will not die IRP. Anyone else though might be fair game...
- I still plan on us having be in the task force and having all meet (unless they're non task force personnel) on the Citadel for a first meeting. In retrospect, both ideas where great for an RP group.
- The decisions I made for Shepard on my own for the last RP still stand.
- The vast majority of Rewrite lore and stuff will be followed, updated to match the current lore.
